A vision of Z-devices - page 5

This is all part of a much larger vision, what I call the WIZ and the ZOZ.

The WIZ is a new kind of microprocessor. It is far beyond our imagined Z-chip.

Our Z-chip is imagined to be a near-future chip, designed much like existing chips, just smaller. Arduino compatible, and able to run all the usual popular languages.

The WIZ chip, OTOH, is unlike any current design. It is not compatible with any current language and won't run any current OS. It is a whole new technology.

And the ZOZ is a new kind of network, far beyond our Z-network. It does not use BT or WiFi, nor does it connect to the internet.

WIZ and ZOZ are the real project. Z-devices are a sort of introduction and demonstration of the general ideas. A "foot in the door" so to speak.
