ZOZ objects can act independently - page 2 Most all ZOZ objects contain a Link (aka WIZ) chip with thousands or millions of computational objects which allow this chip to act as a somewhat independent micro-computer. This chip will be discussed at length in another section of this book. But for now, consider that WIZ chips provide not just a link to the data stream, but also a computer which can compute with the data that passes through it. This allows ZOZ objects to function independently, of their own accord, so to speak. For example, take a ZOZ windshield wiper: you can copy a number to it and it will wipe at that given speed. But there is no need to send it such a number: the wiper can, of its own accord, just come on when it begins to rain, and self-adjust its wiping speed according to the severity of the rain. I'm not talking about a super-genius level of "Artificial Intelligence" here. It needs just a few lines of code to sense when it is raining and begin to wipe.
